Juliet & Mark, this fun, beautiful couple flew in from New York to have their destination wedding at the popular Villa Woodbine Mansion in Miami Florida. Juliet started with a traditional red dress. It is a Chinese tradition for the bride to wear a red dress, called a qipao. In Chinese culture, red symbolizes happiness, prosperity and good luck.
After capturing some looks in her qipao dress we started some games to see how much the groom and bride knew about each other. Which I thought was so fun! After the games, the families had a tea ceremony. A tea ceremony is a Chinese tradition wherein the bride and groom serve tea to their respective families, including parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles, and other esteemed elders. The couple receives well wishes and gifts, and it's an act of welcoming either the bride or the groom, thereby unifying both families. Juliet's wedding dress was chic, and so classic. We ended the night with cake, donuts and danced the night away!
I'm originally from Ecuador and based in South Florida. All I know is that I was meant for this. I was meant to document and tell stories through photography. For as long as I could remember, I always had a camera in my hand.
I have always been drawn to photographs that feel natural and unforced, where the true essence of each moment shines through effortlessly.
